Introducing Our Charity Spotlight Series

Here at Love Drop we have a pretty simple motto, “Spend a dollar, change a life.” Every month our faithful members and visitors spend their dollars and then see the difference made as they watch the blue line on the homepage creep up a further and further toward the monthly goal. They see change happen when they view the final video of the Love Drop party and watch the grateful recipient smile, laugh and even cry. We’re happy our business model is working and hope to continue helping people for a very long time :)

You know what though? We’re not the only do-gooders out there. Starting this month we’re launching a new feature on our blog where we seek out the best charities, non-profits and grassroots organizations, then tell you all about them. Most of us are familiar with the heavy-hitters out there like the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Susan G. Komen, all wonderful organizations. What we want to do is tell you about some of the lesser-knowns, some of the Little-Engine-That-Could charities who are quietly making a difference.

We’re bringing on a new member to the Love Drop Team – Dani Stone (the sister of last month’s Love Drop Recipient, Lucy) – to help us share these with y’all, and we hope you like them.  Stay tuned!!

Awesome! We’re glad :) Everywhere we go, we hear about more and more awesome organizations so we thought this would be a good way to keep passing on the good word about all of them. Gotta keep the love moving!

Thanks! If you know of any places yourself who deserve to get highlighted, let us know. Would love to hear about them! And even more so, to come visit you out in Cambodia one day! Hope it’s still treating you well :)
