  18. Leslie Maynes says:

What an incredibly inspirational story you have. As the mom of two, I know how strong the love for your children can be, and how much work we put into making our kiddos happy, but you have gone above and beyond the call of Motherhood duty, and overcome so many obstacles to give them a good life. You are truly amazing.

    Hugs from Iowa,

  19. Audra Grady says:

Jill, stay resilient! Bad luck has hit you, but you overcome it. Keep on going! Your an inspiration.

  22. Laura says:

Thinking of you and your family and hoping things start looking up for you soon :) x

  23. Kathy says:

    Dear Jill and family,
I often wonder why such hardships come to those that are so good. I read a quote one time that said without a few cracks we cannot see the light shine through. Well you certainly should be seeing some light shinging through for you. I truly believe these hardships are taking you to a place in your life where you will be an amazing inspiration with those far less forunate than you ( I know doesn’t seem possible now) But reflect on all you have done so far, continued your education and the most important and challenging acomplishment -A MOM! I suggest keeping a small journel of this time in your life and each day write at least one blessing -and don’t ever stop believing in the power you have -remember you are unstoppable

  24. Kylie says:

I am still in shock from reading your story. I can’t believe the grace and courage you have shown given your situation. It is people like you who give me hope in humanity. I lost my job about 2 years ago, and was only out of work for 4 months and still did not handle it with the kind of poise you have managed to find through all of this. You and your children are in my prayers. Lots of love!

  25. Lu says:

You are truly an amazing woman! Very resilient, intelligent, and couragous. I am sending you much love, huge hug(s) (to you and kids), and wishing you the best life has to offer.

  26. Carolynn says:

Wow, you are definitely a Victor and a Warrior Woman! What an amazing example of strength and resilience you’re demonstrating to your kids and a whole host of others who have come in contact and been touched by you – myself included.

  27. Shelli says:

Jill, you’ve already shown that you have the courage and determination to make it through such difficult times. I know you’ll be an inspiration to others, and that you’ll have the opportunity to “pay it forward” someday. You’re in our hearts and prayers today.

  28. Jill – you are amazing and wonderful, and deserve every little bit of good that comes your way. Despite the challenges and heartbreaks you’ve faced, you refused to give up and give in to despair. Your strength, courage, and fortitude are incredibly inspiring – I wish for you and your children a lifetime of love, laughter, health, and happiness. xoxo, c

What an insprining story you have Jill. There are people that have had more to work with than you, but have done less. We should all learn from your resilience and desire to make a better life for your children. You’ve done an amazing job and once your children are old enough to truly understand what you’ve taught them, no telling what they’ll be able to accomplish! God bless you and keep showing the world that you can do anything you set your mind to.

  30. Kelsey Cunningham says:

You are an amazing mother. To fight so hard for your children is a motherly instinct, and I dont think mothers are credited enough for all that they do for their families. The fact that you chose to go back to school get your GED and Bachelors is increadibly honorable. Your actions have shown your children how much you are willing to make yours and their lives better. They should be proud of all you have done for them. They are lucky to have a mother like you. Keep your head up and stay positive! When you are at the very bottom, you can only go up!

  31. Sheila says:

    Good afternoon Jill!

Wow. What a remarkable story, and a remarkable lady! Your determination to keep going is inspiring. “Can’t do” is probably not even a word in your vocabulary. Your kids could not ask for a better role model. While this is rough times for them, this will provide them with such a wealth of appreciation, strength and will.

Thank you, for simply being you!

Love and all the hugs you need,

  32. Patti says:

May you find strength in each new day, courage in each new moment and new beginnings from each new breath.
May the universe continue to shine down upon you. You are awesome!

  33. Becca says:

Peace & love to you now and always

  59. Jill,

You are one lucky daughter of God – he loves and trusts you SO much, that he gives you EXTRA refining, because at the core of it all he knows you are an amazingly beautiful diamond! Unfortunately to get to that most beautiful inner sparkling core, we must go through the trials that chunk away our rough parts.

I’ve been on my own journey of loss throughout these last several years. Literally losing almost everything of temporal value after living a very comfortable life. I want you to know that I would not trade my new insights for any of the things I lost – as painful as it has been.

I know that you have been given the trials for your good, to blossom into your best self. I know it sounds cliche – but I know it’s true. I’m living it. And you can, too.

    All the best to you,

    Dear Jill,

You are a shining example of how strong the human spirit is. You didn’t give up. You didn’t give in. I’m sure you would say that you had your weak moments, but you didn’t let that overcome you. You didn’t let your circumstances define you. Every time you fell down, you got back up with more determination and strength. That’s one of the keys in life. Every time you get knocked down, you get right back up. You are the testament of what happens when you do that. You’re so much stronger than you used to be. You have already inspired so many others and you will continue to do so in your life.

You are an amazing woman and inspiration to the most important people first…Your children.
